TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2026: Croatia’s star high jumper Blanka Vlasic will be International Event Ambassador

Croatian star high jumper Blanka Vlasic won silver at 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and bronze at 2016 Rio Olympic Games. She has a personal best of 2.08m achieved in 2009.

The two-time Olympic medallist and World Champion Blanka Vlašić of Croatia will be International Event Ambassador for Tata Consultancy Services World 10K Bengaluru 2026 scheduled to be held on April 26, it was announced Monday by Procam International.

Procam International is the organiser of the World 10K Bengaluru 2026, a World Athletics Gold Label Race event.

Speaking on her association with the event, Blanka Vlašić said, “I am honoured to be part of the 18th edition of the TCS World 10K Bengaluru. Being associated with an event that brings thousands of people together through running is truly inspiring and energising.”

 “Running is a sport that keeps us physically active and mentally strong, and it continues to play a vital role in shaping the athletics community,” she added. 

Blanka Vlašić won silver at 2008 Beijing Games and bronze at 2016 Rio Games. She also won World Championship and World Indoor titles. Her personal best of 2.08m was achieved in 2009.

Blanka Vlašić is also vice-president of the Croatian Olympic Committee. She is actively involved in giving back to the ecosystem and supporting the next generation of athletes.
