Individual and team brilliance will be witnessed at the prestigious FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 that will feature 32 teams, including 16 in the women’s section to be held jointly by the Netherlands and Belgium from 15 to 30 August. The inaugural FIH Para Hockey World Cup 2026 will also be conducted at the same venue.
The global event under the aegis of International Hockey Federation (FIH) for the first time will feature both men and women’s Hockey World Cups.
The mascots were earlier unveiled during the official World Cup draw on 17 March 2026 at the Wagener Stadium in Amsterdam. The Belfius Arena in Wavre, Belgium, is the second venue for the World Cups.
“FIH is delighted to introduce the official mascots of the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026: Wobble and Bubble,” FIH stated on its website. “The names perfectly capture the spirit of hockey and the energy of the tournament. Wobble embodies movement, agility, and the quick changes of direction that are so characteristic of the game. Bubble represents joy, energy, fun, and togetherness, reflecting the vibrant atmosphere that hockey creates both on and off the field.”
