Himanshu Dhillon, Rudrankksh Patil claimed silver and bronze in men’s 10m air rifle event. The Indian shooters also won team silver.

Indian air rifle shooters added three more medals to the team’s tally on Monday at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games in Japan.

Himanshu Dhillon clinched men’s 10m air rifle individual silver, while Rudrankksh Patil secured bronze in a nail-biting eight shooters final at the Aichi Prefectural General Shooting Gallery. China’s Sheng Lihao took home the gold medal.

Earlier, with aggregate scores in the qualification round, the Indian team won a silver medal. Patil scored 631.8 to finish third overall. Dhillon shot 630.0 to finish seventh. Parth Mane scored 628.3 for a combined total of 1890.1 to win team silver. China with 1899.0 won gold. South Korea settled for bronze (1884.2). In the eight-shooter final, Himanshu settled for silver with a score of 231.0. Patil shot 230.9 for bronze. Sheng scored 233.0 for gold.

The air rifle shooters earned two silver medals on Sunday and three medals on Monday at the Asian Games.
