Ceremonial and playing kit of the Indian squad was also unveiled on Tuesday in Delhi.

The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) accorded a grand send-off to the Indian contingent bound for Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026 starting July 23 in Scotland. The unveiling of the ceremonial and playing kit of the Indian squad also took place in Delhi on Tuesday.
Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, P.T. Usha, President, Indian Olympic Association and Her Excellency Lindy Cameron, British High Commissioner to India were among others key officials present on the occasion.
Rohit Rajpal will be Chef de Mission and Ravi Bengani will be Deputy Chef de Mission of the Indian contingent.
“Our athletes are the ambassadors of New India’s sporting excellence. As Team India embarks on its journey to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, I urge every athlete to compete fearlessly and give their very best,” the sports minister said on Tuesday.
P.T. Usha, President, Indian Olympic Association, added, Glasgow Commonwealth Games marks the beginning of another proud chapter for Indian sport. “On behalf of the Indian Olympic Association, I wish every member of Team India the very best,” Usha said.
The IOA also thanked its corporate partners for their support. Team India’s campaign in Glasgow is backed by Reliance Foundation Sports, Yes Bank, JSW Inspire, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Adani Sportsline.
