Antim Panghal wins silver in women’s 53kg freestyle event.

India’s teenage wrestlers Kajal won gold medal in the women’s 76kg freestyle event in theIstván Memorial Senior Ranking Tournament 2026 and Budapest Ranking Series being held under the aegis of world governing body in wrestling—United World Wrestling (UWW).
With three gold medals the tally has swelled to 12. India also won four silver and five bronze medals in the freestyle men and women’s competition. The focus now shifts to the Greco-Roman group.
In an exciting women’s 76 kg freestyle final, Kajal scored an edge over USA’s Dymond Precious Guilford.
Indian team won two silver medals in 53kg and 57kg to swell its medal tally to 12. In the 53kg championship final, Olympian Antim Panghal settled for silver against Sweden’s Emma Jonna Denise Malmgren due to an injury (VIN).
In the 57kg category, Neha Sharma also settled for silver. She lost to China’s Kexin Hong 0-4.
